Marine Structures Provided Bollards For Virgin Voyages New Lady Ship’s Home Port In Miami
The adults only cruise ships of Virgin Voyages have made a big splash in the way we sail the seas. With their luxurious amenities both on and off their ships, it is a unique experience for anyone on vacation. Virgin Voyage’s first Lady Ship is the Scarlet Lady whose homeport is in Miami, Florida. Marine Structures was able to welcome their maiden ship by providing quality bollards and fenders for the new port terminal.
Terminal V, as it is now called, not only boasts the Scarlet Lady, but it also houses a three-story, 132,000 square foot building designed by Arquitectonica. This grand terminal strives to make the entire embarkation process enjoyable with a VIP entrance, alfresco terrace, and a rooftop canopy.
According to Travel Weekly, the Virgin Group founder Richard Branson stated, “Coming to this beautiful new terminal and seeing Scarlet Lady in her home port here in Miami has been such an incredible experience. The team at Virgin Voyages has created a stunning building that delivers on our commitment to being better stewards of the earth with its LEED Gold certification.”
With many ports making new additions to their terminals to better their standards, Marine Structures is excited to be at the ready to provide quality products in a timely manner that helps our contractors meet their deadlines.
